Managing Broker - Rod MacKay

Rod MacKay has built a reputation, much like his company, founded on reliable service, honesty, hard work and a thorough knowledge of the Greater Vancouver real estate market. Born and raised in Vancouver, he attended Magee Secondary and the University of British Columbia, where he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree majoring in Urban Land Economics and Finance.

First licensed in 1978, he became a partner at Tourigny, Hall & Associates in 1980 and in 1982 co-founded Maude, MacKay and Co. Ltd.

Now the sole Owner, President and Managing Broker, Rod specializes in residential and investment real estate sales and plays and integral role in all aspects of the company. Rod is a consistent top performer in the top 10% of agents in Greater Vancouver.

Rod has strong roots in the community and has always had a passion for sports both as a player and coach and is a former member of Canada’s National Baseball Team. Over the years, he has coached and served on executive committees for baseball, softball and soccer. He has long been involved with Kerrisdale Little League, Vancouver Community Baseball, Kerrisdale Soccer and West Side Girls Softball.

A consistent top producer with, with 37 years’ experience in the industry, Rod is committed to personal hands on service with integrity for both Buyers and Sellers.

Commercial Specialist - Neal Iverson, Personal Real Estate Corporation

Neal has over 25 years of commercial real estate experience, primarily in the BC & Alberta markets. Neal previously owned a boutique brokerage, before joining Maude MacKay. While Neal began his career in leasing Retail, Office and Industrial properties, his current focus is in Sales & Acquisition of Commercial Properties. Neal has a B Com from UBC, specializing in Urban Land Economics and Finance.

Residential Specialist - Richard Johnson

Richard was born and raised in Vancouver, and has travelled extensively for work and pleasure. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University, a Bachelor of Education and a Masters degree in City Planning from the University of British Columbia. He joined the City of Vancouver as an Urban Planner and worked for over 26 years on major projects ranging from the waterfront redevelopments to neighbourhood plans.

He brings a wealth of expertise to the firm, with in-depth knowledge of residential design, commercial development, project management and zoning/permit processes. A BCIT diploma in Landscape Design complements his interests in parks and public amenities. Richard played water polo and football in university as well as Senior Amateur Baseball.

As a recent addition to the firm as a licensed broker, he looks forward to utilizing his background in servicing your real estate and development objectives. Richard is specializing as a Buyer’s Agent for Maude, MacKay & Co. Ltd., drawing on his detailed knowledge of the Lower Mainland to satisfy client needs.

Residential Specialist - Dan Huzyk

Vancouver born, and educated at the Universities of British Columbia and Toronto, Dan also holds a diploma in Urban Land Economics (Appraisal), and was certified by the Investment Funds Institute of Canada. Subsequent to an earlier career in the pharmaceutical commerce and industry, Dan has served clients with absolute integrity for 30 years in residential, commercial, industrial and investment real estate, including property management and independent fee appraisals.

A former member of the Real Estate Institute of British Columbia, his previous working associations were with Macaulay Nicolls Maitland, A.E. LePage, United Realty, Keystone Realty and Sutton Group Real Estate companies where his considerable experience included brokerage management and corporate nomineeship.

Dan’s volunteer and community service history includes long-standing directorships and executive positions in national fraternal life insurance, non-profit senior’s housing, cultural, educational business and professional organizations, and his church.

Residential Specialist - Brent Coulson

Brent Coulson has been a licensed British Columbia realtor since 1989. During the past 28 years, Brent has had a successful career throughout the province, having mainly listed and sold residential properties in the Lower Mainland. Brent has also worked in residential and vacation home sales in Northern B.C. and Vancouver Island.

Brent grew up in New Westminster and still calls the Royal City home.

Having studied Marketing Management at BCIT, and continually upgrading his education with real estate courses, Brent uses these tools to effectively work with Buyers and Sellers.

Brent is very knowledgeable of the changing markets in the Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley areas, working with both Buyers and Sellers.

Residential Specialist - Andrew Markus

Andrew grew up in Vancouver, attended Simon Fraser University and has a BA in History and a minor in Business Administration. After graduating from Simon Fraser University, he worked for Xerox Canada for many years in sales prior to leaving to become an entrepreneur. He was a founding partner in Duke`s Cookies, which led to 7 stores, sold them and then participated in Orion Scientific, a leader in energy efficient lighting in the Power Smart Program of BC Hydro.

After selling the company in the early 90`s, Andrew then owned a successful construction/commercial roofing company for 15 years. Andrew has personally been involved in multi-unit and industrial/commercial properties for many years.

Andrew has been involved with coaching many youth athletic teams over the years, played college soccer and basketball, was the 25^th Club Captain of the Universality Golf course in Vancouver and was Vice-President of Celebrate Canada Society (a non-profit organization).

Andrew is involved in home, condo, office strata sales, commercial and multi-unit buildings. He welcomes the opportunity to discuss your needs for now and for the future.

Residential Specialist - Ramadany Rompas

Ramadany (Deny) became fascinated with buildings and architecture at a very young age. Her keen interest in building’s unique structures, shapes and interior designs led her to pursue a career in real estate. Deny studied accounting in Sydney, Australia and worked in media marketing in Jakarta, Indonesia which have become valuable assets for her in identifying opportunities and evaluating market conditions. This allows her to cater to her client’s needs in finding the right home, or the right investment, in the right location at the right time.

Deny’s success has been founded on providing her clients with the accurate and logical advice on current market conditions and her honest and insightful opinions to Buyers and Sellers when buying or selling a home or an investment. She has been very active in the pre-sale condo market in Great Vancouver.

Deny is on the Board of Directors for the Vancouver Chamber Music Society and has been a licensed real estate representative with the Greater Vancouver Real Estate Board since 2006.
