Rod Mackay

Rod MacKay has built a reputation, much like his company, founded on reliable service, honesty and hard work.  Born and raised in Vancouver, he attended Magee Secondary, then later the University of British Columbia, where he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce and Business Administration Degree, majoring in Urban Land Economics and Finance.  First licensed in 1978, he became a partner at Tourigny, Hall & Associates in 1980 and in 1982 co-founded Maude, MacKay and Company with then partner Christopher Maude.

Now the sole owner, President and Managing Broker, Rod specializes in residential and investment real estate sales and plays an integral role in all aspects of the company. 

Rod has strong roots in the community and has always had a passion for sports.  Over the years he has coached and served on executive committees for baseball, softball and soccer.  He has long been involved, with Kerrisdale Little League, Vancouver Community Baseball, Kerrisdale Soccer and West Side Girls Softball, and is an outstanding member of the community.

A consistent top producer, with 32 years experience in the industry, Rod is committed to personal, hands on service with integrity.

Christopher Maude

Christopher Maude has been in the real estate industry since 1978.  He has been responsible for initiating the acquisition of income-producing real estate and the commensurate structuring of equity offerings for both development projects and existing buildings.  One of the original founders of Maude, MacKay and Company, Christopher started the business focusing on investment real estate.  Although Christopher still acts as an investment advisor, consulting and analyzing for clients as far as the UK, his primarily focus is on residential real estate sales and management in West Vancouver, downtown and the west side of Vancouver. 

Christopher holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of British Columbia as well as a diploma in Urban Land Economics from the same institution.  He attended Saint Georges University Highschool and remains an active member of their alumni.

   

Robert Hensel
Robert Hensel has been involved in the real estate industry since 1994.  His primary focus is on Residential sales all over Metro Vancouver where he was born and raised.  He began his career as a real estate appraiser in 1994 with Johnston, Ross and Cheng Limited.  In 1998 he became a mortgage broker and is currently employed with MAC Mortgage Approval Corporation.  He also operates his own mortgage fund called Safeco Mortgage Limited.
He holds a Real Estate Appraisal Diploma, in 1997 was awarded CRA designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada, and is a designated member of the Real Estate Institute of British Columbia.  He is part of the Mortgage Brokers Association of British Columbia, Real Estate Institute of British Columbia and Mortgage Investment Association of British Columbia.

   

Dan Huzyk

Vancouver born, and educated at the Universities of British Columbia and Toronto, Dan also holds a diploma in Urban Land Economics (Appraisal), and was certified by the Investment Funds Institute of Canada. Subsequent to an earlier career in pharmaceutical commerce and industry, Dan has served clients with absolute integrity for 30 years in residential, commercial, industrial and investment real estate, including property management and independent fee appraisals.

A former member of the Real Estate Institute of British Columbia, his previous working associations were with Macaulay Nicolls Maitland, A.E. LePage, United, Keystone and Sutton Group Real estate companies where his considerable experience included brokerage management and corporate nomineeship.

Dan’s volunteer and community service history includes long-standing directorships and executive positions in national fraternal life insurance, non-profit seniors’ housing,  cultural,educational, business and professional organizations, and his church.

 

Brad Johnston

Brad has 32 years (licenced in 1977) of residential experience focusing on the westside of vancouver. He has an intimate knowledge of Vancouver which stems from being a 4th generation westside Vancouverite. Though being born and raised in Vancouver, Brad possesses knowledge of worldwide markets and trends as he is well travelled (having visited over 75 countries).
Having lived and worked in Vancouver his whole life he knows the history of Vancouver and is aware of the typical changes, hence, he has a excellent understanding of Vancouver market trends and of the probable future of Vancouver real estate by street and area.

   

John Crittenden

John was educated at Dover College - an English public School and, on leaving school in 1963, he joined Healey & Baker in London’s west end, concentrating on retail sales and leasing in Bond Street, Piccadilly and the Burlington Arcade amongst other well-known shopping centres. He then joined Knight Frank & Rutley as manager of their retail division. He emigrated to Canada in 1971 and established an appraisal partnership with Cliff Parrish. In 1974 he was appointed property manager and appraiser with Pemberton realty at 744 West Hastings Street and then decided to concentrate on industrial and commercial sales and leasing properties in the south downtown area, the west side and south Vancouver.

He has worked with Wolstencroft realty, LeFevre & Company, Bob Rennie, Tourigny Hall & Associates and, in 1989, he then founded his own Company – John Crittenden & Associates Ltd.

Following the sale of JCA he joined Maude Mackay & Co. Ltd.

He represented The Arts Club in their acquisition of the Stanley Theatre and sold a number of Yaletown buildings at the start of the transformation of that area and was responsible for the original sales at the 'Angus Lands' in South Vancouver.

He has also helped design and market ‘Yorkville Mews' on West 1st  Avenue, close to Burrard Street.

He is also a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
